Boost Gauge and vacuum line

Couple questions, just bought a 97 GTP and recently did a tune up and noticed something odd under the hood that i think might be relating to my boost gauge. Can anyone tell me where this line is suppose to be going??? I can't find the other end hanging anywhere... and then the boost gauge... i've never driven another GTP before to compare, but no matter how much throttle i give it, the boost gauge never goes higher than one notch below the half way mark... is that all they higher they usually go... or is this related to the missing line under the hood??

Thanks in advanced.

If you look at the front of the engine (passenger side/harmonic balancer side) And look in the middle of the lower intake manifold on the end there SHOULD be a vacume line running to that.

To help you out on the location it's right under the nose of the S/C

I'll check it out... If i dont find that, i'll take some pics and see if you can point it out for me.

Thanks

Just looked, and the line that you are talking about is going to another location... marked with the red arrow in this picture, it is connected to the bottom of that location... the line going to it is molded quite well as if its meant to go where it currently is... any other thoughts to what the yellow arrow is???

Well, it appears to be part of the EVAP system, that's the purge valve right there. Is that the line that's supposed to run back to the canister on the fuel tank?

well according to the diagram under the hood this is the line that is suppose to go the the evap canister "rear of vehicle".

Can someone help me out on where to find that so that i can trace it back and perhaps find this missing line.

Thanks

There should be 3 metal lines on the driver side of the car underneath. They come up into the engine bay, one is fuel, one is fuel return, and the third is the EVAP line.
