Bonnevilles are awesome

We all know the Bonnies had autoleveling in the higher trims. Here's a idea of how cool that feature is.

Taken with everything in the car

View of what was in back seat

And the entire load

I actually didnt know they came with auto leveling, thats pretty damn cool.

I added drag bags (inside of the coil spring) and pulled up to a meet with 3 SC's, a trans, exhaust, slicks, name it.. trunk and rear seat was packed solid. No one thought I brought their stuff because the car had a mean rake.

Started lifting stuff out and the car was heading to to moon. Had to let some air out of the bags to unload the trans. LOL This was primarily a W body meet and everyone was amazed at those two things.

my car has that. i want to remove it so when i lower it it'll stay at the ride height i put it.

i'll be doubling the spring rate out back anyway so it won't matter.

In the Bonne it was adjustable, in theory you could adjust it to maintain the lower height and when you pile luggage in..it'll do it's job and keep you where you want to be. Although..the stronger springs might handle the load for you.

my rear struts are what do it. they pump up the hydraulic fluid to maintain the 'happy medium' ride height.

if you lower your car with stock struts it'll jack up the rear end while you're driving around and look retarded. what you have to do is space up the upper mount so it brings the shock back into that happy range.

or you can replace the shock entirely which is what i'm going to do (coilovers).

Volleyball net, check. Turkey fryer, check. Margarita mix, check. PILE of beer, check.

How many people woke up the next morning on your lawn?

Crazy thing.. most were probably lucky to get a drink. I believe there were over 300 people that came and went from this party.
