Body Kit vs Leather seats

I bought a brand new front bumper off ebay for $79 shipped to my door. Only difference between the ebay bumper and the OEM one is the ebay bumper doesnt have the spot molded in for the arrowhead, other than that the quality of it was just as good as the stock bumper it replaced. Hell it even made its way onto another car after I scraped mine.

Aint that the truth! Very few kits of any kind swap right on. Ive installed se eral kits(like halo projector kits) and people wonder why i charged them so much installing "bolt on" parts lol.
Let's not forget that if you think a body kit is going to fit good without a bunch of modification you may want to rethink that.

I've only ever seen one gp with that body kit, it also had one of those huge ricer spoilers and a giant monster sticker in the back window.

Anywho if you decide to go with the body kit make sure you get the duraflex one found here (http://www.andysautosport.com/pontiac/1997_2003_grand_prix/exterior/body_kits/extreme_dimensions/). Trust me you will kick yourself if you don't. You wanna know why the lower lip on the front is painted black? My little brother bumped it into a curb and the damn thing split in half, so a little spray foam, bondo, sandpaper, and a 99 cent can of flat black paint later you get what you see.

Oh and did I mention that they suck to mount up? Granted the blue one I purchased with the body kit but I put on a duraflex body kit and some fiberglass front fenders on my buddys 04 Mustang and that was a HUGE pain in the butt. In the end it didn't even all end up being flush it was close, but then again I'm pretty anal about that stuff so I wouldn't be able to live with it.

I don't hate the idea of modding the basic Grand Prix styling. (Just got an SD front air dam myself as a starter.) I want to keep my own car a bit tamer than the more aggressive styling a kit adds; but done right, a kit can look good. Like anything else, some people will like the way a body kit changes the lines, others will not. It's your money and your car. If you do it, just take the time to do it right. Don't put it on and drive around in gray primer for a year. Don't settle for a sloppy fit. Don't make it look "good enough." Make it look ***awesome!*** :)

Find an 04+ grand prix set of leather seats. Best seat option

Best upgrade you can do.

To each their own with a body kit. Make sure you have a nice wheel offset, and that it is clean if you do it. It makes it unique, and sometimes that is good. Often I find these kits on the GP's start to lean their appearance towards a dressed up Grand Am...and that's never good. That blue one looks pretty decent though...

Plus side to that kit is that I have overheard people calling it a GTO:th_laugh-pointup:

One of those occasions was at the drag strip when the car had no hood on it and had the engine cover that said "3800 Supercharged".

Oh and that blue one is my brothers now, I got a stock 98 GTP that should be pretty fast here this summer or next summer.

Yea because that looks like a gto. Rofl. Those same people probably call it a Grand AM too so take their opinions lightly

No I meant in real life, I've seen hundreds of pics on cardomain with those kits.
