• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

bought a set of straight bars and a new throttle assembly over lunch.

also gonna make the sport bike levers i have work on this bike because the stock ones are crazy, crazy long and hard to work with. clutch will need some adjusting now because the cable is super long, but i'll figure it out. maybe it just needs the clutch plates replaced...

Glad to see you can make use of that tail light. I really like the look and it will fit the bike. :th_thumbsup-wink:

yup yup. i made jackie help me because holding the wires together and pulling the brake is pretty difficult even with my fairly long arms. works like a champ and it'll be a cinch to wire up. i'm glad i can get rid of the old one for something more compact and nicer looking.

busy week. want to play with it, but don't have time until thursday or friday...then i might as well wait until saturday since i'll have time while it's light out.

install/wire the LED piston tail light, install the new handlebars and controls, and play around with the front fender off the old CB750 to see if it will make a good rear fender.

Neat.

I just picked up a 76 CB550.. and need tons of parts... Doing a mild cafe build on it, will probably start slow with alot of stock parts aside from bars and rear controls... I still want it to be a 100 mile a day rider.
