BMC replacement?

So I've got an 06 GT and I suspect the BCM is going bad. All the door locks except for the driver door quit working. The remote start on the key fob doesn't work anymore and my trunk release quit working. I also get a "Service Vehicle Soon" message every time I start my car and turn it off.
I am fairly certain the BCM is bad but I don't want to pay $500+ at the dealership for a new one. My question is can I get a used one off of ebay or something and just get it programmed to my car at the dealership? It would save me a lot of money.
 


Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem, but the airbag light on the gauge cluster is on now.
 
If your airbag light or saying to service vehicle... pretty sure your remote start is disabled. Your airbag light might be why it's saying service vehicle soon. I would get it scanned to see if there is any stored codes even if the light is not on. Might learn some more information than you know now. As for driver door, might just be the actuator. I wouldn't jump to that big of conclusion just yet imo.
 
Fix the little stuff first before you shell out big money for something that is prolly not even your issue.

Air bag light is on, thats an issue. Figure that out, if any SES or service vehicle soon lights are on, the remote start will not work.

If ONLY the drivers door doesnt work, then it's an issue with just that door and you need to figure out what went wrong there.
 
The driver door lock is the only one that does work. The other three doors along with the trunk quit working one day at the same time so I'm pretty sure it's not a bunch of actuators gone bad all at once. This all happened a couple of months before I got the SVS light, and the airbag light came on a couple of months after that. I'll go to the dealership today and see what codes they pull and they might be able to shed some light on the situation. However, if it turns out to be the BCM, does anyone know if I can get a used one and have it programmed to my car at the dealership or does it have to be a new one?
