Blue speedometer and interior lights

I just installed a set of door speakers that have a blue LCD glow so I'm trying to have the interior lights the same color. I was searching around the forums and I found this pic from KeithGTP03. I want something like this for the dashboard:

I think I found a kit for the dash:

But my question is do I need the kit or can I just replace the dash-lights with blue lights? And as for the rest of the lights in the car (knobs for heat and air, car-door display) how can I change those?
 


siwtches and knobs will be led soilderd in and with the dash even if you put the blue leds in they wont be blue cause there is a red coat on the back of them
 
i know this is a lil old but to get the speedo to look blue you will need to peel off the "decal" and use rubbing alchohol or nail polish remover to get rid of the color on the back. you will then reglue it to the speedo and what ever color you put in behind will be that color. dic is a lil more work but still pretty easy.
