Blue Interior Lights?

I'm pretty sure there is some loose wires to my DIC because half of it was lit up the other day and i was a little torqued off so i hit it. After doing so it lit back up but went completely out after crossing the railroad tracks later that day. I was thinking of takingall of that apart and while i was at it i was wondering how to change the color of the lights to blue? could i do it with LED's and what would that involve and i how do i do it? And i also wanted to get a white cluster while i was at it? Any suggesetions would be appreciated

^^Follow that write up. But its a little outdated as you can now buy multi-directional LEDs that twist in...instead of soldering resistors to multi-directionals that you buy at a store. You can get them at superbrightleds.com . You should still follow that thread to remove the red film that is behind the display of the DIC
