Ok I just bought this car yesterday its a 2006 GP supercharged premium sound remote start. Xm radio 6 disc cd changer sunroof My Plans include 3.6 pulley subs SE lip lower it a little full exhaust tune maybe a cam down the road. A different spoiler if I can find one, gauges on the a pillar and touch screen stereo.

wow yep added that to my favorites bar, looks like first engine mod will be headers, I aslo didn't know I would have to swap to 04 or 04 PCM to get a tune so I might have to skip that I don't want to mess up any thing by switching to an older PCM

If one wants to mod an 06 or 07 car and needs the computer tuned, they will have to use a 04 or 05 GTP PCM.

The gas gauge will read backwards, but that pretty much the only thing that changes.

Even from overkill?

Overkill is the only one that I think has fixed the reason why the gas reads backwards. But your also buying a canned tune.

If you wanted to use a tuning software and do it yourself, then you'd still have a backwards gas gauge.

any advice or links for lowering it?

Suspension section has a huge thread on what you can use to lower the car. Be it new struts with springs/mounts/spacers or even coilovers.

Canned as in pre-boxed type of tune. Either its like some vendors that only switch certain things per the "stage" of the tune or its a tune that you have told him whats done to the car and he'll make a general tune around that.

Only downside is that he can only make good educated guess's from years on knowledge to set up the tune to what he thinks that given car will like. For most it works pretty good, but a in car tune with a wideband o2 sensor is always better.
