Blowing MAF fuse in an 01 3.1

I am having a poor running issue with my car. Its an 01 with a 3.1. Took it to the shop, they found a blown fuse for the maf and evap solenoid. replaced the fuse, I made it 20km, then it started running crappy again. I checked and the fuse was blown again. Took it back to the shop again. They have had it for a few days, scanned and checked and scanned and checked(all billable time). Tried another maf and the same thing. The tech pullled the harness out and checked for broken wires. after 4 days of them having my car, I asked if they had unplugged the evap solenoid to see it would blow the fuse. it didn't blow, so they gave me the car back. 10 - 15 km later, its running the same. It keeps blowing that fuse for some reason, any suggestions. Could it be the PCM?
