blower motor

My friend has a 96 Buick regal SC and his blower sometimes runs or shuts off any idea what could be causing it

Just going to quote something from a thread I saw about a week ago:

Blower motor is burnt up, or it's stuck? The one on my Regal kept locking up and I'd have to hit the bottom of the dash to get it unstuck. Eventually that didn't work anymore. There is a rubber tube on the bottom of it. I took it off sprayed some penetrating oil in there, got it unstuck and hasn't locked up since.

Probably a bad motor.

I have a motor out of an 04+ GP. I'd sell cheap. I think the GP's and the Buick's have the same blower fans. All you have to do is extend the harness an inch or two to get the fan to plug in. Bolts up the same. PM me if your interested. It's just collecting dust.
