Blower acting screwey, I searched

I have an 04 GT1. 52,000 miles. The HVAC blower motor will go through all the speeds on the speed controls. The issue is when it is on full speed as far as I can tell. It will blow like it should then if I put the car in drive and move the speed will slow down when I let of the gas, when I give the car gas it will go back where it is supposed to be. Is this a possible symptom of a bad blower resistor? I replaced the battery recently. I thought this problem was related to a bad battery but it continued. The battery was bad though. Can I test the resistor? Di I remove the cowl on the pass side to replace the resistor? I need to fix the cowl leak anyway.

Check how much voltage you have at the blower motor. Sounds like it could be an alternator issue when you get the rpms up the voltage goes up and the blower spins faster.

Thanks for the reply, tested the Alt and it is all good. Crisis overted. Played with the car some. Found out when I am turning around in a driveway or parking lot when the car is cold the RPM's are dipping to 500 and that is what is lowering the voltage. Probably need to clean the TB again.

Do you mean the level or the kind of fluid in it? Level was full about 2 months ago, had to put a little in but I put "power steering fluid" in it.
I bought the car with 26K, have 52K now. Is there a difference in the atf for the steering in the Grand Prix? I have always used atf it in the past on my other cars.

Funny you mention the steering, I swear the pump is louder than it used to be and the steering acts funny sometimes, I can't find any leaks though. but that has been since before I added fluid, the RPM dip and resulting voltage dip started about a month ago.
