Blizzard in Oklahoma!

Wow in all my life i have lived here we had never had a blizzard warning.

It got so bad most all interstate, turn pikes, and local highways where shut down. I was at work when all this started and they would not let us go home early, so i left after it all ended. Even at work we have snow plows and backhoes to clear most people where stuck getting out of our parking lot. Why i love the W body got out EASY and the snow was up to the rear bumper.

Had to take someone home that was all the way across town from where i live and it drove like a dream, but i also know how to drive on this stuff.

Got into my neighborhood which was over 1' of snow that no one has yet to drive on got all the way to my driveway, keep the speed up to try to get it over hump but it was a no go. So now half my car is in the driveway and the back half in the street.

On other had my dog LOVES this snow storm...

We got hit pretty good down here too. Got my wife's hhr stuck trying to get up the small hill to my house(the grand prix is stuck in the garage). Oh well I went and dug it out this morning since everything is starting to melt already.

After talking to my dad Wednesday, he told me they were having a blizzard up in Minnesota and already had gotten like 6-8 inches, and were supposed to get close to 20"ish or so before it stopped. I joked with him saying i missed having weather like that. Cause in 7-8 years of being in okc i have yet to see snow amount to anything here. And lookie here we got a good old fashioned Minnesota blizzard. Well close enough anyways. It will be fun while it lasts.

My dog loved the snow too.

Nice to see some different weather for a change. I wish this would happen more often

I agree its nice to see, but I do have to say I wish Oklahoma would have a better dissaster plan. Just seems like we dont have enough trucks for when something like this happens.

Thats the truth. So far i have yet to see any tulsa trucks out. And the parts that were half ass plowed they left feet of snow on the side to where you could not even get in to the business entrances you needed. I had to dukes of hazard the way in the gas station last night.

Are we ready for another one?
Im car-less. Tag out on gp (im poor) and trans am wont move in this sh!t
i have 5 cars and still need a ride :)

This one is not supposed to be too bad..Just got the garage cleaned out so I can at least work on the GP while its crappy outside.
