Blinking service engine soon light.

I have a 1999 Grand Prix with a 3.8l Supercharged. Today I was driving and the service engine soon light came on and it was blinking. I have had it come on before but it was not blinking. It drove very well at higher speers ( I was on the expressway, so 65-75 mhp) but in stop and go traffic it was chugging. It as not making any weird noises or anything, but it just seemed like it was heistating a little. Also when I tryed to go from lower speeds to higher speeds, the supercharger was making a rattly sound. Keep in mind this is a new supercharger that I replaced about a year ago, so i dont think that the superchager is the issue. Any advise?

A blinking CEL means there is most likely a misfire condition and unburnt fuel is being dumped into your exhaust (which is bad for your catalytic converter). Need to get it checked ASAP.

flashing check engine light is a P0300, random multiple misfire. fuel is unburnt and going into the exhaust stream which superheats the exhaust stream thus melting the cat converter in no time. if its hesitating and seems like its struggling to accelerate like it used to, the cat is melted and plugged shut. easiest way to tell is drill a pinhole right before the cat. if its blowing a lot of air out that little hole, its plugged. if it is not plugged, get it fixed asap before it melts the converter.

I am not sure what KR is, sorry..... before this happened my SES light was on and it scanned that is was the MAF sensor, I have not replaced it yet.....
