Bleen GTeeeeee

Re: Bleen Machine

Took a lil trip out to oil country (Williston and Minot area) crazy how different things can be out there in the Wild west of North Dakota. Just over 600 mile round trip for me and the longest one I have had the Prix on. Survived the trip without any problems well over 107k on her and running strong.

Sonic in Minot!

Geographical center of North America! wit some dirty a$$ car

Just another grocery getter

Em it's a simple stb don't overthink it and think it's going to scream bling bling. Paint it blue and it'll look like someone has gotten ahold or a can if krylon fusion. I vote bodycolor..simple and subtle.

Re: Just another grocery getter

Alright a couple pic updates. Car needs cleaning bad but wont be getting done for about another week then I will have a serious photo shoot.

Installed the front stb with don rome brackets. Im really liking it and will be getting the rear shortly.

and last week got my spo tips!! Really interesting story behind these guys. These were discontinued by gm but my parts guy at the local gmc/buick dealer found a set that a dealer still had it in stock for some reason. The tips were shipped in about two days and the box told the whole story why the dealer still had them. They were an RPA accessory and were oringinally sent to be put on a new at the time 2005 at Scott Pontiac in El Monte. Well for whatever reason they did not make it on the car and Scott Pontiac closed sometime after. just thought it was kinda cool

Re: Just another grocery getter

Getting so sick of crap gas mileage, I can get about 23mpg on the highway only, and 20 mixed grandma driving, and 18 mixed spirited driving. My "mixed" calculates to be about 75% highway to work/school. It's not awful but disappointing to say the least, especially when my pops gets 17 mixed driving in his brand new sierra 4x4

Re: Just another grocery getter

Difference is newer car.. New technology.. My pops silverado gets damn there 17-18 and I'm lucky to get that. Want better mpg buy a Prius lol

Re: Just another grocery getter

Time to replace anything that may seem old then.

Replace the front o2 if it's still the stock factoy one, clean the MAF again. Not sure what speeds you drive at, but anything over 70 mph in mine and mpgs go down.

Re: Just another grocery getter

It's in town highway when I say mixed so like 55/60 mph.

But ya haven't cleaned the maf in awhile and def time for new o2 sensors

Re: Just another grocery getter

Took some pics by the lake over the 4th and installed new belts and o2 sensor. Thanks to the new sensor I appeared to have gain about 2mpg a little more acceptable.

Re: Just another grocery getter

Get rid of the GM squares.

Get an inlay for the front/rear bumper.

Do plugs/wires too if you haven't...maybe a new PCV as well. Clean the crap out of the throttle body if you haven't done that either.

Simple things like that will really help out the car quite a bit...and that's less than a hundred bones too for everything.

As for the engine bay, I'd paint the fuel rails the body color, do something with the supercharger...maybe paint it a nice silver to match the valve covers if you paint them too. Don't be a ricer and paint the STB. Leave it black. Leave the STB brackets alone. Get rid of the silly blue loom too. If you have to re-loom for whatever reason, just do black loom.
