Bleed screw opened by itself!?!?!?!!!

I did some 0-60 pulls today and when I got back home steam was billowing from the engine bay. The bleed screw right on top of the thermostat was wide open and gushing coolant. Does it open by itself under pressure? I think I lost 1/4 of my coolant and it's a mess. Sigh :th_lipssealed2::th_tongue2::th_thumb-down:

Yeah I did that as soon as I knew I wouldn't burn myself. Do you know if anything in particular would cause it?

Would have have to of been lose to begin with.

Otherwise it's not going to unscrew it self under normal coolant pressure.
