Could you use engine/high heat paint in headers?

Nope.... Gotta use header paint. High temp will burn and discolored. Bit yeah the chrome is tits.

The speed daddy headers look awesome when they aren't installed yet, but once you fire up the car, they discolor right away :(

The discoloration still looks better than the stock manifold.

Yeah that I'm not sure about. I think it's actually a top coat/clear coat. Since it would be matte otherwise.

I say you paint yours to match your car color or theme that your going with.

Yeah. If/when I get SD's imma paint em with that stuff. Keep em looking nicer. Maybe the silver.

I'd only waste your time painting them if your going to paint other stuff in your engine bay or actually plan on modding it a lot.

Just get them ceramic coated the color of your choice, prob solved

The vht spray creates a ceramic coating. And I do plan on painting other things too. Just maybe overtime. Headers IMO are a 1time install lol

My downpipe had some surface rust from direct exposure during last years winter.

Threw some VHT header paint on it.

We'll see how it lasts.

That's another reason. This car will see all seasons. I'm thinking of vht'ing my whole exhaust lol
