• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

BGPM 2008, Sept. 4th - 6th

Are you driving you LS1 S10 to the meet? If so i'd like to take a good look over it myself. I like that "newer" body syle and a thought of an LSX in it sounds pretty kick ass.....

yep, driving it there. I will have street tires on it, and when I get ther eI will slap the Streets on it with skinnies..... in my opinion...it just looks a lot better that way.lol:th_thumbsup-wink:

Updated weather forcast as of right now is 78* - and partly sunny for friday. :D:D

Gonna be great for racing! It is hotter than a SOB down here right now though!

well the GN is being a little stubborn, so i may end up driving the gsx.... will be a gametime decision as of now. still havent got my new axles in either

Yea, last year I did put out some of the items for raffle, Still not 100% sure what the raffle items will be, but here is a list of some of the items that will be available. Still working on if they will be raffle items or prizes or giveaways, but it will give you an idea. I can assure you that the big ticket items will be in the raffle.

Edit: Looks like we will have 12 things for raffle this year, and I have updated the document as of 3:15pm cst.

Edit 2: Sept 3. Had to take off the Trunk Mat due to fabrication complications and added the Car Show Poster

Webracin, I was trying to reach you on messenger tonight, but I have some bad news. The trunk mat is not staying together as planned. I will be donating a second certificate for a free car poster to make up for it. Something is keeping the vinyl I used from staying stuck to the hardboard. I have reglued it everyday for the last week and it keeps peeling up. I have decided to ditch it for now because Brian and I just don't want to give someone something that, as of now, appears will fall apart on them before they even leave Branson. My apologies.

hey webracin, i have a couple parts i may be willing to donate for the raffle if i can find them. I know i have a brand new wbs mps with 2 pullies, and a carsound high flow cat. I just dont know where the hell they are...

does that get me a discounted room rate??? : - )

And after this trip, my GenV will be rebuilt, or replaced regardless. Its sounding baaaaaaaaaaaad. Knocked since the day I put it on, and now its just obnoxious.

I got something else to go on that will be shipped when I get back from this event. :th_scratchhead: But for now...you will all like the newest addition to the Grand Prix (GTP) World as far as performance parts go. :th_peaceout:

You'll just have to wait and see it at the event. :th_biggrin2:

well, I have some bad news. I just got in my truck to head home, and I have nothing. I am running off the battery. It rained here, so I am not sure if water seaped its way into something it shouldnt have.....

I am going to be tracing wires in the morning, my best efforts to get it to go!!!!!!!!! but if I fail, I fail. I am sooooooo frustrated right now. I have everything in the back end of it, ready to go!

well after the gn started being stubborn, i started to prepare the GS to take the trip. found grease all over my new rims, and then noticed the brand new cv boot cracked and leaking. Then when dave dropped the tranny pan, there were AWESOME chunks in the pan.....F^CK.

so now im down to driving the impala..... beat that BS

You better get that thing to Branson, LOL. Wish I were there, Id come over and help out.

Guys and Galls, I feel your pain.....

I was not only trying to get everything ready for the event, but had to change 2 wheel hubs on my GP, and a tie rod end on Sheryls GP. Then went to put new brake lines on mine and repaint the calipers.....well by the time they were dry it was dark and suppose to rain the next day, so I stayed up till 2am to put the calipers on.....Got the car back on the ground and NO BRAKES. (Mental note to self.....it helps when you get the calipers on the right side (bleeder screw ^) so you can get all the air out...hehe).

The rain looks like it will be gone thursday night about 6ish, so we will have a couple of hours of daylight to clean the cars up a bit. Looks like the weather will hold out for the event. The track should be good, as the temps are suppose to be in the high 70's.

I will be heading out today and should be there around 8pm.

I sure do hope things hold up for sure....I've spent the better part of 2 1/2 days detailing the car only to drive down in rain, but the good thing is she will clean right back up.

We will be there about 10-11 depending on how many times we have to stop, a guy rolling with us has had 9 back surgeries, so he has to stretch every now and then.

I updated the raffle items on page 39. There was a problem with the fabrication of the "Trunk Mat" so it had to be removed, and I forgot to add the "Car Show Poster".
