Better Glass Cleaner?

Im in love with Rain X, ive been using it for almost 2 years now, i currently use the 2 in 1, glass cleaner and Rain X stuff. But after each car wash, i get sick of scrubbing the glass on there, especially the inside of the windshield and inside of the back window because every time i wash those particular things (both inside of windshield and inside of rear window) it always leaves streaks and i mean a ton of them. I use 1 microfiber cloth to clean and a different 1 to kinda go over the glass again to make sure theres no streaks but it doesnt work. When driving around, you see streaks everywhere...Whats a good glass cleaner? and what should i use to clean the glass with? Cloths? Certain paper towels?

Re: Better Glass Cleaner

I use Stoner Invisible Glass and a waffle weave towel. Used it once and never used another. And it is safe for tint.

A waffle weave towel? Never heard of those. But cool, ill have to try the invisible glass stuff, been seeing it a lot on the forums. It's just for the inside of the windows anyway. For some odd reason, theres never that many on the outside when i use the Rain X, i love Rain X so i wont get anything else for water beading technology for my windows.

Re: Better Glass Cleaner

Are your windows tinted? When I used RainX on the outside of my windows, all I could see is a fog when I looked at them in the sunlight at an angle. And it was a biotch to get it off. That's actually when I discovered Invisible Glass.

Thats what i think it is, it might be more a foggish look but it happens more in the inside then out. So Invisible Glass in the inside and Rainx on the out? And no they aren't tinted. It's illegal here to have them unless they are factory installed. Not much if they're illegal anywhere else.

Re: Better Glass Cleaner

Awesome, just signed up for the samples. Though im tempted to just getting the cleaner anyways but its too dark here right now so that would be pointless lol Thanks by the way...

Re: Better Glass Cleaner

When used with regular old paper towels, it leaves no streaks.

Sprays on and lasts for a few weeks. I like this stuff as you can apply it anytime (on the go) without having to polish it on, like RainX etc.

Re: Better Glass Cleaner

And FYI, when you use rain-x, it puts a haze on your windows that you then have to "buff" off. Think of it like wax for your windows.

Thats probably what my ENTIRE problem is, it leaves a fog like haze behind, kind of like smear marks. Then when trying to go over it with a dry cloth, it gets rough, then i have to put some elbow grease into to make that smear mark go away...Damn i feel dumb for not realizing it could be the RainX.

Yeah.. directions FTW. Also, a slightly damp cloth is another way to take the haze off and another recommended way for removal.
