Best way to get the cam out the car with the engine bolted up

^lots of loctite was a ***** to get mine off from the factory ended up having this mobile mechanic come by with a 100 gallon air compressor and torching it to break the bolt loose.

I tried the pipe and leverage thing on a car when impact wasn't available, failed. If things are still hooked up.. I'm all about the starter trick. Just be careful because you can get hurt.

Unhook the 7mm bolt holding the coil pack connector to the ICM. That will disable the motor from actually starting.

ive seen vids where people will rest the leverage end of the breaker bar on a jack stand, then crank the engine over. maybe hes talking about tying the bar to the jack stand so it cant jump off it?
