best tire size with a good look on a 16" rim



The tire you pick will determine grip and handling, you better be prepared to spend more money on a quality tire that's for sure.

Past that you need suspension "upgrades" to fix the body roll and plowing the front end does with stock suspension.
 
I run the BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 (summer tire) in 245/50R16 in the summer on the front and the Comp 2 A/S (all season) in 225/55R16 in the rear. For Ohio winters I swap to 225/55R16 all seasons for the fronts. These are 26 inch tall and a little shorter then stock. There is limited performance tires in the stock height. I don't really care for the look of the shorter tire but the performance of a quality tire is night and day difference.
