• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Best mods to get the most bang for your buck?

Cam or inner cooler. I would have to recommend both of those over headers, you can go farther with just a cam or innercooler than you can with headers.

-EDIT- I just noticed that this is in the ls4 section. So with that said idk.

Just as the title says any suggestions? :)
If youre just purchasing the car youll want to do this list to keep the car reliable and happy
1.Drop pan and replace trans fluid and new filter
2.while youre at it install transgo shift kit..very simple and easy 60-80 bucks
3.install trans cooler....Preferably a bar plate design like so..http://www.amazon.com/Hayden-Automo...71&sr=8-2&keywords=hayden+transmission+cooler
4.GET A TUNE!!!!very important and will wake the car up.
5.. Get a CAI of some sort...i wouldnt recommend the K&N kit at all. either build your own...or build your own lol
6 Decide if you want to take the car further

I agree with 91parkave's recommendations 100%. There great write ups on here for all of those things. Where u from? Any questions please ask away

What do you have to spend? But preatty much what others have said. Obviously tune up, make sure car is up to date. Then if you want power, intake, headers, aeroforce, pully, wideband, tune. After that cam, pully drop, tune, intercooler, pully drop, tune, and so on. If you have 2g+ just turbo it. Keep in mind you will need a built trans shortly.

Pretty good list I've actually had her for almost 3 years now she's an 08 and only has 57k on her : ) But I like the suggestions but if I may ask what does the drop pan do? I'm new to modding it's why I'm asking trying to learn some. I currently have a Cold Air Inductions CAI and I've had the res pulled but that's about it. And DirtDog I'm from Tampa FL :)

Here 's a few things that can be had for reasonable prices;

UMI trailing arms
Canuck GP lowering springs
Make your own HAI
Home Depot lip spoiler
GMPP strut tower bars + Dom Rome brackets
Overkill or various other Tunes
BMR lateral arms
Sway bar + 97-03 LCA's
DoD camshaft + lifters
Held Coilovers(if you get the sway bar+LCA's)

I work at a car dealership and one of the techs here has a firebird and he's got me pretty convinced to get her cammed but I have no idea where to start on something like that.
