• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

best first mods to do

I started with wizairred, then cat back, then PLOG, then pcm, 3.4 pulley, then 3'' DP. Out of all those the dp was the biggest noticable change. Oh yeah I did small stuff like plugs, wires, t-stat somewhere in there too.

The order I got my stuff... still have KR so no pulley drop yet :(

1. Intake
2. 180*
3. DP -Cat
4. PLOG
5. PCM
6. Rockers/Springs
7. Alt UD Pulley

Fenderwell Intake
Exhaust - I'd go headers to full 3" if at all possible (and will be when I get another GP)
upgraded plugs/wires
DHP
Get it scanned/tuned
3.4 pulley
Get it scanned/tuned
ported Gen III (get it done by GBP or Farns, if at all possible)
ported TB (see above for who are the "go to guys" for this stuff)
get it scanned/tuned
If you're satisfied with hitting high 13's at this point - stop. If not...
Decide now how far you want to go - if you want to gain just a little more:
1.9 roller rockers and 105# springs
get it scanned/tuned
If you want more...
XP cam, 105# springs, modified stock rockers, etc etc.
get it scanned/tuned

See the pattern here - scanning and tuning on these cars is vital. You won't be able to take full advantage of your mods (or protect your investments) if you don't do the necessary work to ensure that everything is optimally tuned for what you've done.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Another great mod to go with a tuner/afc would be a WIDEBAND O2! I wish i would have had one of these a long time ago. If you have a laptop the Inovative motorsports LC-1 is a great choice. It's only $175 too and it will alow you to dial in your afr with out having to guess with the stock narrow band 02's the indicate leaner as your rpm climbs.
