Best deep exhaust for 2004 gtp

Hey guys :-)

My 04 gtp currently has pace setter ceramic coated headers, zzp 3in no cat downpipe, flowmasters idk what series, but I'm looking to change it up.

I want a deep badass sounding tone, to me the flowmasters somewhat sound like a lawnmower lol, i love loud but what mufflers or what can I change to get a deep tone?

good luck finding a deep exhaust note coming out of the 3800 engine . I thought by putting a 44 series I would achieve that well I was wrong and only had the mufflers installed for 1 day.
 
I know. I was just woundering if anyone has had any luck getting a good deep sound

Yup. Pull 3800, remove floor, install f-body floorpan with necessary body mods, along with LSx and T-56/4L60E, get exhaust, enjoy.
 


yea borlas would have a pretty nice deep tone to it but will run u pretty good or go tad bit aggressive and do SLP

u can make it sound decent at best, like mine sounds pretty damn good with slp mufflers, but nobody belives me and i cant post a video cause videos make exhaust sound like absolute ****, unless u got the best camera in the world
 
Ehh.. the "best" sounding 3.8's the engine is drowned out by a turbo or blower. The engine sounds bad at anything other then idle.
 
eh i think at idle its to mellow, i like how some gps sound (depending on there setup), but of course ur not gonna get the american muscle sound but ill take what i can get lol, id say slp or borla ull get the best sound u could get with these cars
 
Flowmaster's suck.

Pacesetter's have their own downpipe, so not sure how you have a 3" ZZP one...do you have true dual exhaust?

Catted WBS Store Headers, with a full dynomax catback sounded good on an '04 GTP...quiet is the key, unless you have some dumb small pulley, monster bird catching hair dryer, or some mega pointless huge lift cam.
 


The biggest magnaflow resonator you can buy with two manaflow's out back. Also put a cat on it. It'll be more mellow and less raspy
 
I love the sound of my car. And i get alot of compliments on it at car shows and track days. No it will never be a sexy, deep, rumbling v8. But its not a pissed off 4 banger either.
