• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Best day ever! (with pics)

So a few days ago i got the new suspension in. It took me all day and shed some blood but it was worth it! The new setup includes...SSC springs and KYB GR2 struts w. all new hardware and anti-pogo washers.

All too familiar scene... lol. Well done. I'd look into some trans/engine mount spacers to get rid of the axle vibrations that you might be getting.

I had put in Intense upper poly mounts, but i still get some slight vibrations, ill look into it

i ran that same set-up, car rode like total crap. way too harsh of a ride for my tastes, but maybe you'll enjoy it better than i did

That looks great, doesn't it feel good to accomplish something on your car lol? Every time I do something new something else messes up :(, just my luck lol.

yeah man looks really nice bro! dont go bigger then 18's i think... anyways yeah congrats man! im getting eibachs lowerings springs and strurts from idk yet but it should be fun lol

YEah, nothing over 18's. Over that and the tranny starts to take a beating. I wouldn't go over a 17, but that's just my opinion. I had 18,s on my GTP and could feel a little power lose from them, so I put them on the wifes GT sense it's slow anyways.lol!!!!

some bigger rims and walk away! looks clean man!

thanks guys, I figured id post pics in case someone else was going the same route. I was planning on rims but i would want something light weight, and i cant find a place that advertises their wheel weight. I had 17's in mind but not until i have the Gen V top swap in:th_biggrin3:.

And yes the ride is a bit harsh, with GR2's you feel everything, A big difference in the turns, car is extremely stable, no body roll what so ever but if i wanted comfort i would have gotten all new oem stuff :th_thumbsup-wink:
