So I'm 18 and I work at a grocery store next to a shopping mall. Yeah, it's as fun as it sounds. Anyway, there was a 97 camaro ss that was sitting in the parking lot the whole day. I figured it was an employee's since it was there so long but I asked around but noone knew anything about it...
Later on... the guy that was pushing carts tonight wasn't feeling good so I took over. I was minding my own business when a convoy of maybe four or five cars started coming over. A cobalt ss, a scion tc, something else maybe... then THIS:
Now, keep in mind there's almost no nice cars in my area for some reason. I saw this thing and when I saw the spoiler and realized it was a GTS-R I got instant goosebumps. Hell, I have goosebumps now thinking about it. So anyways, they all pull up to the camaro and pop the hood and start messing with it. Apparently it wouldn't fire up when the guy came in in the morning and had to leave it there.
After I got over myself and finally went over to them I asked if they needed anything and asked what was wrong with it. I don't know why I find it funny but at one point the guy with the viper was like, "I got some pliers in the Viper." ha. After talking a little while they left to go to advance auto to get something for it and I went back inside. Later on my lunch, I grabbed something at subway and was on my way back and when I was getting close I saw that they were back. I parked my car (which was close to the camaro) and when I got out one of the guys yelled, "Dude, you want a ride in the viper?"
This thing was so beastly. He took me around my store and the mall parking lot and the few "car guys" that worked with me happened to be outside and saw me. :th_laugh-lol3: He romped on it a few times between stop signs... woww... I had the biggest grin on my face the whole day. I still get giddy like a schoolgirl when I think about it. I'd say this was one of the best days of my life.
Talk about a boring ride home in the pontiac...
