Best 6.5" Mod

I've seen a couple mods on here for swapping the doors to 6.5 components. I'm ordering a set of Crescendo CCX65's to stick in my doors, and for ease of being a noob, wondered if anyone had a personal favored way to mod the doors to mount a 6.5" speaker in it. Thanks

Well this is like the only picture I could find of how mine are. I just cut off some of the plastic that was in the way and it fit. Kinda hard to describe but hope this helps some.

Hope you can see were I cut off a piece on top for it to fit.

The installation of 6.5" speakers in place of the stock 5.25's is not a body/visual mod.

When I did mine I set the speakers too high and I ended up hitting the door panel and now I'm in process of making custom grills to cover things up. So just double check locations.
