• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

being prompt

I'm not one to be early to work, only because I couldn't clock on until my scheduled time.. There's no point in me just sitting there. I was always on time though.

Early to an appointment like picking up exhaust etc is much different than work. Especially for you slackers that can't punch in or be there early.

It's about common courtesy and respect for a person's time. Late people get on my nerves in cases where I'm doing them a favor or saving them money etc. That's a simple case of not respecting another person.

im always around a half hour to 45 minutes early for work. i enjoy getting here, settling down, doing some internet surfing, then getting to work.

It's habit for me to show up early. It takes me all of 3 minutes to get to work if the stoplights are nice, but i'm there 10-15 minutes early all the time.

Vids of the exhaust NAO.

And that sucks. Sounds liek the same craigslist bull**** I've been going through since I've been trying to sell my computer..

Craigslist assholes say the darndest things.

you show up late for your first shift you had better have a damned good excuse or i'd be FIRING you, not sending you home...

if you were sent home on your first shift you really weren't even hired. but yea thats what i mean, i send them home without supper  and never call them back lol

That happened to me at my first day at Sugar Daddy's....once again my car wouldnt start...and then once it did start i heard this rubbing noise and was like aww chit....it was just my inner fender well plastic rubbin on the wheel when i turned...i freaked out at first cuz i had the car for like 2 or 3 days..can't remember lol.

Thats valid IMO.

True enough haha

Vids of the exhaust NAO.

exhaust will go on this weekend, but i dont have a camera that will justify taking a video of it so it's pointless. the only camera i have is a POS for video and sound. its only mediocre at taking pictures...

I learned my lesson with being late. When I was a 19-yr old KID, I would randomly show up 30 min, hour late. That led to the first and only time I got fired. A couple years later, I found myself in a supervisor position(due partly to being there at least on time) and I finally felt what it was like to need someone to be in on time, work needs to get done, and... they're not here yet!? W-T-F! 15 min LATE is a big deal especially when you have to start doin their job until they get there:mad:. So long story short, Now 15 min early is a MINIMUM.

A few years ago, I was buying a snare drum from a fella on craigslist. It was insanely cheap, he had no idea what he had. I show up 10 minutes early to the gas station he picked out and just leaned against the side of my car for the next 20 minutes. If you can't do the math, that makes him 10 minutes late. His car filed in next to mine, got out shook my hand, and apologized profusely for being late, telling me why: He locked his keys in his mother's house, so he had to smash a window and hoist himself through it to get to the keys. Awesome.

The breakdown: He smashed a $150 window to sell me a $150 drum for $30, and apologized for being 10 minutes late. What a guy.

A little off topic but for those of you that work with customers..
"Under-promise and Over-deliver"
In other words don't boast about how good you are, blow them away with how good you are.

I've noticed that no one I know is ever on time anywhere. most of my friends are ALWAYS 15-45 min late. I can be somewhere 2 hours away to the minute of when I need to be. I blame this on that people are just lazy these days.

work=on time, ****.. havent called in sick in like 4 years, 3 years before then

meetings=TRY to be on time, but sometimes things happen. I will be apologetic, and explain.

fun=whenever, but try to be within 15 minutes.

Also, don't believe what bio (is going to) say... he's lying.
