When installing a boost bypass valve, does it have to be installed in a certain position?

Negative. There is nothing you need to adjust other than just tossing it back on, hooking up the vac lines, and plugging in the BBV solenoid. Just flip the level and slide the valve on...then flip the level back down. You'll see the notch in it that'll match.
 
Aight, quick question. My scanner says while at idle the boost % is at 100%. But once i shift to drive the boost % drops to 0%. Im not sure if its correct or not.

Not sure if its telling the acutual boost is at 100% or if the BBV is just fully open at 100% to prevent boost while at idle.
 


Naw, my vaccum guage read 19psi well within the green area and steady.

I hooked my Snap On Solus Edge up to check something out and thats when i noticed the boost percentage was at 100% while at idle.
