• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Battlefield 4

After playing it more you realize all of the subtle changes.

I'm still trying to figure out if it's the same for most guns, but when you reload your gun with 25 bullets still in the mag, you lose those rounds. I was trying to figure out why I always ran out of ammo.
Thats how BF2 on PC use to be, idk about BC series and BF3 though.. Pretty sure it was not like that. Never payed attention in BF4

220? Perhaps 320? LOL.

Well that sucks.

I don't see the improvements. The only map doesn't have vehicles either. At least it didn't in the few games I joined.

UI isn't improved, they changed it sure, but I wouldn't say it's an improvement. I can't even turn off the 10x10 px crosshair that's stretched across the centre of the screen. At least give me a small one if there's no option to turn it off.

Better yet, Origin won't open now.

Played this a little more, then went back to BF3 for a more "valid" comparison.

I have to say, the game is a lot easier to hit if you can aim. Unsure how I feel about that. It doesn't get as frustrating as CS:GO does at times. However it might be too easy. I'll have to play hardcore mode as well, perhaps that might change the feel a tad. Movements in game feel much better.

The mouse in the menu isn't great, feels like a port again. But that's nothing new with PC games.

On the ammo topic, I wouldn't be against each magazine having a set number of rounds. Then cycling between magazines. R6 style. However, it won't work well with ammo pickups or resupplies.

Discarding the mag entirely isn't accurate per say either.
