They are now imported because Delco as you said found a cheaper deal overseas. To clarify my most.....Deka used to manufacture batteries for Delco and put a Delco label on them. Now Delcos look like an Exide battery design which are also imported just like the Delco. So the Delco design is owned/patented by East Penn which is owned by Deka which makes Superstart. So what does this mean.....that if you want an original hard core Delco spec battery go with superstart. I should know cause my cousin worked for Murrays/Oreillys and tells me all about their parts and suppliers.
