Well I finally need to replace my stock battery in my 03 gt. what do you guys think that I should get? Im kinda going bang for my buck right now. I'm pretty broke................damn college

Junkyards sell batteries, sometimes you can find one that's pretty new cause somebody was throwing parts at a car to fix other problems. Can't hurt to look and you can get em for like $10. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Ya no go on the junkyard thing. im not going to go through that hassle I'd rather just go buy one that I know is working and hasn't had the tar kicked out of it. any other ideas? should I get high cca? would that help that battery last longer? I don't want to have to deal with this again while in college

I prefer ac delco and interstate batteries. Delcos have up to a 7 year warrenty. 3 year free replacement, 7 year like 50% of the cost is covered. I have a interstate mega tron II in my grand am and it works well.

delco is what come stock in it right? i like that battery it ran 8 years. im still running it but it isnt going to make it another winter. I ran my lights and speakers while tring to fix a wire problem and it died in like 10 min
