• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Basic Hop-Up

Changed my fuel filter, and same thing. I have have an exact rpm gauge on my areoforce as well as shift time. Tomorrow when it get the chance I'll take a video of that to see if anything is irregular. I'm considering swapping to my stock PCM and see how things go. Only other thing I can think of is never doing a case relearn, over time can anything change with the cam/crank position sensors? The other day my buddy was at a gas station and I was getting on ithopping onto the highway, my buddy said it stuttered too. So I know it's not just me.

What about the Mass Airflow Sensor? Considering it doesn't do it in second, because 1st revs up quicker could that be causing the problem? I don't have any codes, and the last code I had a month ago was the pre-catalytic converter 02 sensor. It came up because I have no cat, I cleared it and haven't had an issue.

I realized that after some inspection. I'll pull the MAF and clean it, and try to straighten the mesh screen. What else could be causing this? Now it feels like it cuts out between 5-6k. Sometimes if im in second, stab the throttle and drop to first gear, it will do it right after the shift around 3500-4k. It's definitely getting worse.

Here's the newest two videos. Does it right when the videos start. Listen to it a few times, you can hear it in the exhaust tone. It back fires pretty harsh after on the second video, lean condition from Faulty MAF sensor?

Still getting worse. I changed my coolant elbows to aluminum ones, and put some RTV on the O-rings because I noticed it leaking. The drips are running down the frame one the bottom of the car next to the passenger CV axle. I changed the elbows at the same time I did the fuel filter. So that led me to think I ruptured a vacuum line and that's why it got worse. I grabbed a can of WD-40 and while the car was idling sprayed all the vacuum lines and connections. No change in idle, I can't hear any leaks either. I changed to the stock PCM and it didn't help. Also, my car never runs over 170° Fahrenheit. With the cool weather and 180° t-stat, it just doesn't happen. If it's sitting and I'm giving it a little gas looking for vacuum leaks it will climb to 195°. With the leak, sputtering/bucking, and the extra heat, im starting to think I have an intake manifold leak? I checked the dipstick and don't see any water in my oil. I've only dealt with external intake manifold leaks, how do I know for sure I have a leak? I don't notice excess pressure in the cooling system, under medium acceleration (2 boost bars) it runs fine and has good power, I step on it and it's sputters I don't see any white exhaust smoke or anything. They make cars all electronic, but I rather have a carburetor if the damn thing doesn't give me a code for problems!

Update, I took a second look and I don't think it's leaking from the intake manifold. The area the drip is coming from I can't see how it could be the manifold. I put stop leak in it, we will see how lucky I am.

Changed my lower intake manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, and supercharger gasket. That fixed my water leak. Changed my wires and coils, that got rid of sputtering. I'm pretty sure it was my wires causing it. Runs good as ever now.
