ballast mounting

for those of you that have HID's already in your headlights, where do you have the ballasts mounted? can you post pics?

i mounted mine behind the bumper cover. i know alot a gp guys done the same thing too.

my headlight ballasts are mounted to the fender behind the corner light. The fog ballast is under the bumper cover under the headlight. Make sure the connections are in good as both locations are wet

mine are under that plastic piece that you can take off that goes between the bumper cover and the radiator section. they are just zip tied in, havent had any problems yet.

I mounted mine to the frame underneath the headlight housings.....there's just enough room in there to mount them in. I actually got extra points at a car show for the clean install.

I have my headlamps mounted on the core support, and the fogs under the core support.

yea mine are mounted to the frame under the headlamp assembly as well. looks really clean

I have all 4 of my ballast mounted on the bumper support... 2 on top under the headlights, the other 2 on the bottom of the support by the fogs.
