Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance

I was never really a big fan of that spoiler but damn does it look clean on your ride man. It looks awesome with the window spoiler A+++.

Are your fenders pulled or are they just rolled?

Thanks! Theyre just rolled with a mallet and heat gun but they probably got pulled slightly when I rolled them. I'd like to pull the rears a bit but the lip couldnt go completely flat. I've been considering shaving the lip on the rears so I can get really close fitment and add those spacers that I still have.

You need some Ron Vogel LCA's LOL
haha mine dont like how im treating them. I read somewhere that Ron Vogels were discontinued? What are your thoughts on the zzp ones?

I decided to finally get those spacers on today. Then the length stud i chose was 54mm i think and was just long enough that i had to take the whole hub off to get them on. They're 10mm spacers and I also rolled my fenders a little flatter and pulled them a tiny bit. And you guys should be happy to hear that I have plans to try out painting the black fender tomorrow haha

Haha yeah youre right, and i'd prefer a nicely painted black fender over a crappy white one. Lets hope i dont mess up anything

You've got it down perfect now man!

Im guessing you rolled them with a mallet and heat? How'd you pull them?

Yep I just took a mallet to them again and a heat gun and just hit them a little harder. Its crazy how thick the rear fenders are, you just smack the mess out of them. The mallet pulled them out a tiny bit and then the last little bit was applying some heat and dropping the car down and letting the tires do the work.

I changed my mind. I want my spacers back.

Part number on the studs? Or were they ARP?

haha if you come take them off for me, it was a huge pain with the new studs. They're napa ones 641-1581 and I had to go to 3 stores because the first guy only had 5, then the 2nd guy only had 3 and then finally i got the rest from a 3rd store. And then my hubs were rusted on bad :th_tongue2:

Haha thank you, im super excited to have everthing matching again. I'll try and get it done tomorrow and post up pictures.

Okay so i didnt quite finish up today, but its painted and drying right now. Then i'll put it back on the car and wait a little bit before I polish it up. I think it turned out okay, or at least for spray paint. Im just a little worried about the color matching right.
