• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance

how's the ride quality?

They ride nice and smooth. I'd say probably on par with the coilovers but a bit softer. They're still nice and stiff though but the bounce is controlled now with the new struts and it makes a world of difference.

looking good!

that rim sure is busted up like you said.

me thinks clear corners should be had!

Thanks! I had clear corners on for a while and they're sitting in my closet right now because I wasn't totally sold on them. I might bring them back out and see if my taste has changed haha

Can you read?

glad to see things getting back in order for ya :D

Thanks!

do you have to set the ride height each time? or do you have a programable controller (if such a thing) like a park height and drive height?

Nope, that stuff is super expensive. I just have a pressure gauge that shows each corner and I go on the outside and set it to a height that I think works good and just remember the psi that it was at and raise it to that number each time.

Trying to catch you ridin dirty.

Haha he's my neighbor and pretty high up in the department. It might come in handy later on to be friends with him :th_thumbsup-wink:

I get so happy every time I see an update for this thread lol now just time to get the fender matched, and new tail lights! Frickin awesome car man, I would love to be bagged someday.

height based management systems are the best because they automatically add pressure when you add weight into the car, but most pressure based management systems are all anyone would ever need.

both are much more expensive than running a manual switch setup by a good margin. some people like it, some people don't...

good to see it's back on the road. planning on running these wheels for much longer? i'm thinking you could tuck a 10.5" wheel with a pretty low offset with this setup...

I think i'll hold on to these just until i can get some nice legit wheels. I havent really done any real fender work in the rear and the front has hardly any camber so I think youre right about the 10.5's. I really want to try and do a decent pull on the rears. But I haven't put much thought into what I would get yet, just something real vs knockoff wheels.

i have a wheel that i'm keeping in my back pocket that i've been drooling over for a fair amount of time. the wheel company hasn't even opened the doors yet, haha.

haha that would be awesome to be the first person ever with those wheels. I have a few ideas of some things I like right now. They aren't really anything special, just some of the more recent rotiform stuff. In order from my most favorite

you'd be the only one ever to have a 3 piece wheel on a grand prix, methinks.

i want these......

sempek knoop. like i said, the company doesn't exist yet.

I had to edit the work ones, they were only 4 lug pattern but the roc is about the same. Those wheels look pretty close to the roc bio, but they look a bit concave? They look really good though
