Bailout for the porn industry? WTF next.

Well I was trying to start my own personal rainy day fund, and on the FIRST DAY of the New Year, my tranny takes a dump!

I guess I gotta request a bailout now too :p

Working in the Stock Market, I get to see all kinds of greed first hand. When the Mortgage Back Securities (Swap) failed, all the companies that bought into this deal were suppose to save that extra money incase people defaulted on their mortgages. And of course greed in these companies took over and they kept the money for themselves. And when people started defaulting enmass, the companies did not have any of that money stached away to offset the difference.

Hence buhbye Goldman Sachs, and many others who bought into this whole scheme.

It really ticks me off because if I screwed up my finances the way some of these companies have, there would be no bail out for me. It would either cut back expenses or do without a few things. I just dont grasp why this principle doesnt apply to businesses as well.

Totally agree with you! If you want money, go to a damn bank. At a bank, they're at least borrowing your money that you volluntarily put in the bank that's earning interest, instead of through government handouts, which comes from tax dollars, which comes out of our paychecks. If a bank won't even lend them money, why in the hell should they get it for free? It's the survival of the fittest.

Thanks have to change, and it's only going to get worse if the government keeps getting their hands in it. I saw great episode of 20/20 a while ago about the bailouts. They compared this to way back when, before we had refridgerators, there was a guy who delivered ice to peoples houses. It was obviously a pretty good business. Then refridgerators were invented and his business drastically declined. No bailout or help for that guy, and we are MUCH better off without him. If we kept handing him money to keep him in business we would be in trouble. Why should things be any different today?!

Well if you guys notice or so what I have seen of the news its the guy from Girls Gone Wild..and from what I have read he is ALWAYS lookin to makin a few bucks! They even said that they are not hurting for money just thought this extra money would help THEM boost the economy or some bull like that! I think its SOO stupid and hope it gets laughed at! Being a female...Girls Gone Wild is stupid! I can just look down and see boobs! my god!!! LOL

Can I get some bail out funds I accidently bought a 2.8" pulley now I need a cam, intercooler, headers, and a tuner! LOL!!
 
The government is like a business with absolutely no one in their accounting department. They outscourced them to china.
 
yea man, China is the new #1, our Govt. is just too stubborn to admit they were stupid enough to allow it...
 
I just find this funny that we owe China over a trillion dollars. and China is out growing the USA, military, and people. can we say WWIII?

No kidding. I didn't even qualify for a grant. I hardly make any money while going to school, average about $200 per week, and I have to buy my own food, pay rent, pay insurance, make my credit card payment, and my tool payment with that money. However, some one else who just nurses the system and makes plenty of money but uses it carlessly gets the grant, I just get a loan.
 
I will say this, and I may be wrong, but to me it seems that the writing is kinda on the wall. Those of you that have been fiscally responsible, planned and put money away and not lived beyond your means, I say prepare to be able to reap the rewards soon.

I truly feel that all this bail out crap is going to tank us in a big way and all those that have saved and done without to plan for the future are going to be able to step in and make the most of their savings and planning.

I keep saying it'll happen one of these days. It'll happen within our lifetime, I guarantee it.
