i think they are too long to go drop sub frame when you part though. you'll have to chop off the mount and move them up a little if that's what you want to do.

yeah, easy street has turned into air lift.
however, they dont sell our application anymore. then again, i havent called and asked if they had anything on the shelves or if they would make them. i just havent seen it listed on their site anymore.
kuntzie has modified easy street struts.

What do you do to get the wheel alignment right with a bagged FWD car? anyone using a bag system on the board?

I'm thinking that if I raise the car until until the axel is level on each side and the car is level front to back then get the alignment done it should be close.:th_wtf:
I found that the air bags from airbagit.com with no air in them have a 2" higher fender well in the front as compared to the rear.:th_angry2:

they don't, i live near them and my roommate has one of their prototype kits so we go there often so they can check it out. i've asked and nagged about it and get shot down every time.

yup, there was a patient issue with the old kit, so they quit making them. now they have changed the issue that was at hand but say that the demand isn't there to make the kits again. the Euro market and luxury/VIP style cars is their focus now. they are about to use a roommate's '04 lexus LS400 to mock up a new kit for those so he will be getting his SECOND free airlift kit! and i can't even get them to make a set for just my car.

i know its a little late but my kit is easy street/ air lift, they have indeed been modified, the subframe lays out right to the ground,
i personally know of a airbag it kit and they are junk as they use stock length struts, the lowest they go still don't tuck tire at all and struts really won't last at all.
the air lift kit uses koni adjustable struts iirc, that are about 3.5" shorter then stock, i modified mine more so by about 1" on the bottoms where the strut attaches to the knuckle.
i could not drive the car straight at all when i installed the bags, had to do an alignment right away.
i also did a few other things so i could have some nice poke of the tires, i run 285s on the front and 255 rears, i don't know anyone running wider on a street driven car, never mind with bags,
i also have perfect and by that i mean in spec camber at a 3.5" drop (my ride height)
fwiw, i bought a sd front lip and i can't put in on my car as it bottoms out to the pavement with it on. i may put some small spacers in the strut towers as it literally 1/16" touching.

i am going to use UAS airbags. they are hollow right down the middle, so they can slide right over any normal strut. put a set of coilovers sleeves on a set of struts and bam, you now have a bag over coil setup allowing you to dial in your drive and dumped height perfectly. the bags themselves have about a 5" of drop, ~9.5" total full pressure height.
either way, it will be a little bit more work to piece together than most setups, but it will be 192% worth it in the end.

please do not pay that much. build your own setup for much cheaper with better components. the bags themselves are necessary, but the rest of it can be sourced better outside of that site.
