• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

It's a 2008 Grand Prix......Sometimes I get out of my car my radio will stop playing music. When I get out of the drivers seat its like there is a switch in the seat that says "hey this guy got out of the vehicle so lets stop playing the music" The radio doesn't turn off it just stops playing music. I do have that SXRC remote hooked to my amp and if I change between one of the 4 memory presets on that then it will play again. I ran my constant power straight to the Batt with an inline fuse. I grounded the radio to metal behind the radio. The only thing I can think of is my ignition wire which runs to the fuse box. I tried several different places for this wire and it still does it. I am about ready to run the ignition wire off of the constant with a switch just to see if that works. I have no wires running under the drivers side seat that can be pinched....Does anyone know if there is a switch for something like the airbag that might be screwing with the voltage going to the radio via where I have my ignition wire.

I don't think so, is that the only time it happens when you get out of the car? Maybe it's you opening the door or putting it in park.

It will happen if I lean back in the seat also without the door open and while driving down the road.
