bad vibration while accelerating help please!!!



hi was having a similar prob with my 3.8l 2000 grand prix gt the same prob is happening shaking when accelerating but it is also making a squeaking sound which seems to be coming from one of the wheels or under the tire i'm not positive on it. any thoughts on what it could be? my biggest worry right now is getting the shaking to stop it is really bad.

Its the side that's in jounce or "under compression" when you turn. So if your turning left when it vibrates it's the passenger side and if your turning right it's the drivers side.

On a side note when you go to get an axle DO NOT buy GSP Brand (advance carries them) and when you buy the axle make sure it has 5 ribs in the axle boot not 3. The ones with 3 will rip apart throw all the grease out and go bad within a week or two. Also before you put it in set the axles side by side and make sure they both are the same length. I got my axles from NAPA. I hate NAPA personally but its the only place that had the right thing for once.
