Bad PCM?

Would leaving my ground bare for a couple inches be bad? I couldn't see it touching any bare power sources there. But the black tape did melt a bit like I figured. So If I need it insulated, I'm not sure what to do

I have the slack and wanted to try insulating it differently to see it that melted too. It did start to so I took it off again. Either way putting it back how it was isn't going to help any. I'm going to hunt around for heat shrink for this size wire and see what I can figure out

It's a ground.. so what if it doesn't have insulation. Looks like he'll be changing it before it ever has a chance to corrode and screw up,

being the insulation is that wide open it will get dry wire and stop being a good cable in 4 to 6 months easy. bare metal is never good for the long haul.

True.. and what I'm saying.. I feel still applies.

Stock cable.. it works like a champ until you replace it with a fresh cable.

Bad ground or bad body control module would be my guess.. scan the bcm and see what the ignition 1 voltage says when your issues arise.. if the voltage drops then I would suggest going thru all the bcm power wires and grounds
