I still want one, they're becoming more logically affordable than a G8/GTO, LS1 F/Y body.
Insurance is just as cheap, and around half the cars for sale seem to have manuals. Plenty of SS M6 cars in the low 20's. Not bad for a three year old car I wouldn't even be able to afford for another two. Even if the price didn't move, perfectly reasonable for what you're getting considering people ask similar money for LS1 F/Y body, as well as G8's. GTO's are much more difficult to find as well.
Sure it's not a pontiac, sure it's not that great to look at, but all I'm after is some horsepower, RWD, and a manual. This fits the bill quite nicely. Of course there's always the option for a whipple and an LS3-b. Because doubling the power at the wheels is a good idea right?
