Eh to each there own. If a person wants to buy a Vette and let it sit then go for it. We all know their true potential. GM makes an awesome product with the vette but old guys are to afraid to use it.
 
A friend of mine's grandpa has an 07 vette, its got about 7k miles on it. It currently hasnt moved in 7+ months, except around the block every once in a while.

Has an inch of dust covering the car. It's a shame.
 


Thought I would just throw this in here.

My neighbor, last week, went to the Chevy dealer to buy a Malibu.

Okay cool, right? Good for him.

Well, turns out they weren't giving him the "deal" he wanted on the Malibu.

So instead, he trades in his almost brand new truck, and comes home with BRAND NEW 2012 Zo6 Red Corvette with 50 miles on it.

Wouldn't that be nice. "Hey honey, I'm going to get a Malibu, Brb." ...... 1 hour later..... "Change of plans! I bought a corvette instead!"

Ugh Jealousy at it's finest. Plus, he lives right across the street. So even when I'm sitting upstairs watching Tv, I have to stare at it.
 


I'm guessing the unveiling of the new 'Vettes by Chevy is leading to some pretty hefty discounts for what's currently on the showroom floors...
 
Gonna stick with the LS7 for a while. Its the debut motor for the Z28 Maro in 2014. Most powerful NA motor Chevy produces and its lightweight and solid to boot.
 
I dunno, I think the Z/28 might be its last hurray. Camaro is supposed to be rebuilt for 16 I think. So I think gm could rebuild the ls7 and boost the power even more with the new tech coming out.
 


I was expecting the new "big thing" with motors and tech from GM was the redesigned LT1.

Not sure tho, they could do something drastic and surprise us all.

Ill grab a NIC cam with S2IC and run a 2.8"

Thats the setup I wish I could have one day. Since the NIC loves boost, add an intercooler to that, and boom, run a tiny pulley... Just because.
