Bad Ass Car Thread :D

so my and my girl friend saw one of these today

it looked close to this but had different wheels, same color hood and front end, anyways i say "godz i want me one of those" and what does she say......



"you want that? you mean that ugly pos sitting over there?"
i was shocked i told what that car is and she was like "who cares?, its still ugly"
i about made her walk home.lol
 


I had a similar incident at the track. Older gentleman had one, all original, only owner since new, it was his baby and it showed. Still ran mid 13s with 2 people in the car. My whole group was drooling over the car and he was more than happy to tell stories and talk about it. GF was like "its just an old car, what's so special about it?" She gets if my group of car buddies likes a car, there has to be something to it, but she just didn't like it. Said it's ugly and would be money wasted to fix one back up.
I have rarely wanted to backhand her, this was one of those moment. A katt williams "Shut up, *****" moment went through my head. I just went :th_shakinghead2:

She likes pretty cars, and it just wasn't in her opinion.

Oh well. Can't save them all. I still want one.

Truthfully, I doubt its got more than 1 speed, the shifter likely just works Forward/Neutral/Reverse like a boat usually does. Notice the speedo, its got 2 tachs, no speedo. Just has the look of the vette inside.
