Bad 3 Months

March, April, and May were not kind to my GP. The dam thing had 2 engines die under its hood.:th_skull: The 3rd runs but does weird stuff. Low coolant light haunts me. Sometimes at idle the red oil light flickers rapidly. The rear struts went and now the back end rattles and makes horrid sounds. Power steering line went last week and sprayed fluid all over. Sometimes the idle after start up jumps wildly even after the car has been run previously. Oh, and the tranny isn't seeming to be getting along 100% with engine number 3. It just feels "off" a bit. :th_shakinghead2: I have lost any trust I had in the car.

get rid of it for another gp if you are done with it. the trend goes when your 2nd engine dies in a GP buy another GP because its hating the engines you give it. you are like the 3rd person in the last week i have heard is on their 3rd engine and still have problems

wow bummer. if you're using the pcm to match the new motor, given it is 98+, you have a different trans and that could explain those issues.

I've been on my second engine and trans for 3 years now.

now i'm looking towards headgaskets and a stronger trans, eventually this one will blow lol other then that MY GP has been a badass for me.
my 97 has a trans and engine from a 00 and has had no issues given.

my old 97 however did not like my motor and trans so i scrapped it haha

1. I don't have any coverage on the car, only for the people inside it.
2. I have been thinking about getting another GP, but maybe I will wait a while and get a T/A instead.
3. Oil light didn't come on. It flickers at idle sometimes. I have taken it in and nothing could be found wrong. Mechanic said its probably the sensor.
4. Stock PCM. Stock 4t60e.

My other point is that for the first 2 years the car did have its annoyances, but never came close to leaving me waiting for a tow. In the last 3 months its done that twice.
