Just wanted to say thank you to BackInBlack for his fog light write-ups. Did his mod to get the fog lights to stay on with the brights and decided to work on the fog light switch since it has never lit up. Picked up some LED's and resistors tonight and for the first time since I have owned my GTP, the foglight indicator works!

I know it seems like a small thing to be so happy about, but I hate it when things don't work.

Backlight and indicator LED's. Both are red, I wanted to keep everything red. I had a yellow LED in it first and I thought it was just a tad too bright. The red's are even in color although it doesn't look like it in this pic because the indicator is just a little brighter than the backlight.

thats great although i havent had that trouble with that particular part, my gear lights are out and a few of my air/heat lights are gone as well, i'm sure its almost the same.
 
I have to give thanks also, because of a right up on BackInBlacks site, I was able to fix the display on the wifes stock hu. Thanks again man.
 
Hey BackInBlack, do you still have the instructions to kill headlight flash on the 2001+ Grand Prix's? If you could post the pic of the rewire schematic and the description here, I would greatly appreciate it. Seems the pic link is dead over at ClubGp when I finally found it. Then I closed it and can't find it again. LOL!
