Back brakes!

I just put new brakes on my 2000 grand prix. Now the brake power feels way less like the backs dont work any idea?

What did your brake job consist of? Rotors&pads, or just pads, or did you have the rotors turned?
Try getting them hot and see how they work, some pads don't work well untillthey are hot, some need more heat than others. Just go to a road with low traffic and make some safe hard stops. This will tell you how hot they have to get beofre they feel good, what type of pads did you put on? I have also found that when shops turn the rotors they dont have the correct finish to them and it takes a while for the pads to bite. For this reason I always just buy brand new rotors.

I put brand new pads and rotors! The peddle feels stiff untill half way then it starts to get musshy! the rears don t have as much power!

when u say mushy i cant help but think i would at least start by going through some fluid and bleeding the brakes again, and possibly again. top dollar equipment means nothing if they have air in the lines or possibly think if getting stainless brake lines i know that will help the pedal feel for sure!

yeah i do about 50 brake jobs a week lol and this never happens. I found out that it was my master cylinder!!! I put a booster and 2 different sets of pads and rotors! They are all kinda mushy the gxps are not like that at all!
