Axle replacement.

Grease is squirting out of the wheel side, driver side front axle. The boot is in bad shape but i hear a noise sometimes which could mean the cv joint is on its way.

Does anyone know the GM part number for the whole axle? How much is it approx?

I hear the boot is a pain to change, even if that's the only problem would it be worth the extra $ to just get the whole thing?

Iknow that vatozone wanted $60ish bucks for a replacement axel. IMO i would just replace it.

just get a used stock one for cheaper. probably better than any autozone axle anyway.

car quest has good axles i have both sides and they put up with abuse ive heard good things about napa axles also...
