yeah im a big fan of the 06 body style more class with the same attitude,
as far as the legacy yes the 2.5 started in 05, it seems thats the only ones with ANY power lol, and since you said the whole gearing deal ive been thinking of going with an auto, they have tiptronic so i can still satisfy my needs somewhat while keeping the trans intact.

what do you think about cost efficiency? is it a good idea to dive into this? or should i keep ol' rusty
 


ive owed a lot of cars in the past and this car is by FAR the cheapest to mod. i mean i can get a full header system in full stainless for only $180. thats with everything needed too. shoot on my 94 gmc truck i cant even get the headers by themselfs for that, gonna cost about $400-500 for headers and ypipe.

yeah i know thats why im thinking of keeping now the modding is so expensive on others, soo much so that i think the cost will evan out
 
not true, you should have no problem finding a legacy 2.5 gt in a manual. As long as its a GT its probably manual. and yeah, they act very like the WRX, but without the boy racer look.
 
for the amount youre going to pay for a well equipped subaru with not a ton of miles you could buy 5 grand prixs. just sayin.
 


Trust me man, I think of the same thing all the time cuz **** just never stops acting up, but I can't bring myself to get rid of it.
 
youll never be able to compare with how cheap these cars are to mod and replace parts on. my subaru kills me when it comes time to fix something (havent yet).
