We had a huge group there back around 2005 or so, filled both sides of the street on one of the side streets. Got a lot of traffic and most people appreciated the cars but I did hear one couple at the end of the street say "should we go down there? Naw, looks like just a bunch of Grand Prixs!"

I remember hearing people say "huh, that must be Pontiac street/avenue" Ya, we pretty much owned that entire block those years.

I can't count how many times I heard "Grand Am", but of course you get that almost anywhere you go once and a while.

Ya, I'd be down for the car show again...have gone to look every year, but took a few years off from going and showing. Maybe this year...would be nice if we could get a gang of Grand Prix's together again and hog up an entire street like we did in the past...but wishful thinking ya know.

It's July 11 Located in Wichita's Old Town District 200 N. Emporia Corner of 1st Street (one-way running east) and Emporia (one-way running north). I will be there. Anyone else?
 
Might go myself. Might consider showing the car...as its been a few years.

What we usually do is meet down town, and drive in together so we can all park together. We have a great spot where we can meet up and get in line to get in.

Wonder if ANYONE ELSE would want to go and show as well?

My buddy would probably go again but he'd be bringing his Daytona Charger not a GP. Idk too many ppl locally if any with GPs.

Just posted this on the local KC forum today. There are many of us out there...a good get together like this brings us all out of the wood works. Great chance to meet, and greet. GETTING them to come out is another thing.

I'll most likely go, and show.

I went there to look at the cars, i seen your car there gr8, very nice btw. I was wondering about your steering wheel, is that just some sort of cover?

You should bring your car out to the races some weekend

and are you going to the black top nations thing next month? i hear its going to be huge
 


Ya. my steering wheel as well as my shift knob were both prototype custom one offs. I sent them to a company in Singapore. It was stupid cheep for the quality of work. Thanks for noticing.

Whats with the screen name? You race, or used to race? '98 state champ right here, boo-ya. LOL. I haven't raced since 2001?

thats whats up, no problem, its a nice looking car.

And ya i use to race, i was state champ from 2003-2008, then i quit. I think i started in like 99.
