Autometer or AEM

Classy Pontiac

Alrite Im going to be doing a gauge setup in the near future and wanted some opinions. I dont know yet if I am going to have 3 or 4 gauges yet. One of them will for sure be an aeroforce and a wideband. Still debating between oil press and fuel press, but I may do both. What I want to ask is for a wideband gauge do you guys recommend AEM or Autometer, which one is better? I noticed there is a big price difference between the AEM($200) and the Autometer($300). And for the other gauges is AEM recommended or Autometer. THX.

No I've had an autometer pro-comp tach, oil psi, oil temp, trans temp, and vaccum gauge. They all worked well and i never had any problems with them. But i haven't ever used an a/f ratio gauge so i can't tell you if theirs is good.

ive run 2 AEM widebands and probably will never change that fact. they are nice and i like that the controller is built into the gauge.

AEM offers analog out for logging with whatever system you use to datalog.

Autometer Phantom II guages look great, but no analog output.

Those are similar in pricing. Unsure if autometer offers any guages with analog outputs.
